WebSpacex has been re-igniting their Merlin 1D engines 2 times for each simulated landing mission. Apparently it has been working well. But RP-1 and LOX are hypergolic, they ignite on contact with each other. So if you use Methane and have to actually ignite the fuel is that really gonna be possible? I mean its hard lighting a match in 20 mph winds.
